January 10/11th, Monday/Tuesday

Whoops,

Sorry, missed a day last week.  We did a nice cell lab looking at three different types of cells; an onion, cheek and tomato cell under the microscopes.  The labs were due at the end of class.

Today we quickly went through some of our Cell Organelle notes.  I highly encourage that you download these notes and study them in great detail to be successful on the test.  Also, they'll really help with your cell puppet show.

The puppet show is what we spent the second half of class on. We got in our groups, assigned group roles and wrote up a proposal describing a breif synopsis of the cell process you'll be acting out.

Remember to make this both a learning moment, but fun!  Have fun with the puppets.  Give them characteristics of people but still doing their assigned cellular roles.

Next class period will be all dedicated to working on the projects.  You'll need to have your script finished by the end of the period with puppet styles fleshed out.  You can pick up materials AT THE END OF THE DAY for your puppets.  There will not be class time to work on them.
